On the Road with Kiki cont'd

The wedding was lovely, then off to the reception we went. We were greeted with flowers. They were everywhere!

I am jealous, I've never gotten delphinium to grow like this!

I really liked the wrapping paper on this gift!

The bride asked everyone to write a passage or thought for them so she could create a book of her wedding day.

It started to rain, but that didn't dampen spirits!

Even as we were lining up for

The Ice Cream Man! (look at those flavors! Soooo hard to decide!)

Someone thought to collect some rain, I think the showers will help their marriage grow.

I think this guy had a little too much...

I danced with the bride's prom date

And the couple lived happily ever after!

On the Road with Kiki

Last weekend was Road Trip weekend! Yay, we got out of the house (after taking a second mortgage so we could fill up the gas tank) We went up to Massachusetts for a wedding, the groom was my high school prom date. (I thought about posting a picture to go with that, but then thought better). We stayed in a very bizarre little hotel probably from the 70's. It was clean, but a little quirky.

They had a putting green in the lanai area. I wonder if there was once a pool.

They need some help with the gardens.

We went to visit the Bridge of Flowers. The view was very pretty

I like the view of the Connecticut River.

We also drove around and checked out the local color. There were a few things that I couldn't get HP to slow down long enough to photograph, but I kind of got this one.

It was nice that this blow up doll has cleaned up her act and is trying to make an honest living in the kitchen, but climbing up the signpost everyday is still demeaning.

The wedding was beautiful. There was a nice breeze coming off the river.

The bride seemed cool & collected.

The groom escorted his mother down the aisle.

The brides mother officiated

but her nephew got in on the show.

I cried at the vows.

I think they will be very happy!

I hope they like their present

Tomorrow, the reception!
